You can practice this daily.

Exercise:

Close your eyes, and with each answer you give, place yourself in the front seat of your emotions and memories, not just observing them, but truly feeling them. For example, if you’re grateful for someone special in your life, don’t just name them, see them. Picture their smile, hear their voice, and relive a beautiful moment you’ve shared. Do this for everything you write down. Let each thing or memory come alive.

3. What are some things happening in the lives of the people closest to you that you are grateful for?
